Visitors, Karaokee and Room-mate Drama
Sorry long time no write. Will get better! Has been a very eventful spring.
My ski-friend Katarina visited in April. We had a lot of fun partying, eating and exploring the city. We had a highly memorable dinner at a Russian restaurant/disco where guest of all ages started dancing violently in fancy dresses in time with the arrival of our apatizers.
The Copier-department at work has their own karaokee-club. They invited me to join and wow... the Japanese are
so funny... I can't describe... at work they are so timid, respectful, quiet, nice. At the karaokee club... well I will let the picture speak for itself.

Marie, my Swedish room-mate had to go back to Sweden. I got the lease for the appartment and got a new room-mate, a girl who seemed nice. However, after just a few days it came clear that this was not going to work out. Reasons include: stiletto pumps, head to the side trying hard to be cute, falling down stairs drunk when alone at bars, lies, leaving the apartment at 3 am, dragging home guys she did not know... She no longer lives with me.

Sara, my Icelandic ski-friend came to visit in June. We had a lot of fun kayaking around the southern tip of Manhattan, going to Woodstock and going out. A collegue of mine took us for an amazing tour of Harlem. He was previously a policemen there and is excited about the wide-spread restorations that are being done there. He showed us gorgeous, quiet, peaceful neighourhoods in Harlem.
