Visitors and parades

Had family visiting last weekend, my mom's cousin. We had a great time with dinner and afterwards a drink at a bar. Kind of nice to be closer to my family on my moms side. Definately helps in getting to see eachoter when I live here.

And then there is these parades in NY.... Seems like there is some nationality with the need to celebrate themselves and parade down/block off 5th Avenue every singel weekend now. The picture is of a Caribean country's parade. Last weekend it was a Polish parade. Yeah, I know... Polish. 80's music and I don't know what else, I kept at a distance.
