Out of the City every Weekend

This is my fifth consecutive weekend out of the city. I went Camping on Fire Island with Australian Shelly and her nice friends. Fire island is a scarsely populated island off the coast of Long Island, it has no trees, only sand and beach.

Also went camping and trekking with Sarah in the Catskills, north of the city. Did you know that they have black-bears in the forrests of the Catskills, 2,5 hour drive from NYC? Well they apparently do.

Last weekend my uncle and I went to Fredonia, my moms home town way up-state. We hung around with the old folks, knitted iPod cases, ate fast food at places that served quality food for quality people. We als went to the Lake Erie for a swim. There are two beaches in Fredonia, the crowded beach and the not crowded beach. The one on the picutre is the crowded one.
