Tough environment

Was out with a new friend yesterday. She had just been fired the same afternoon. She had to take all her belongings and was not allowed to come to work today, the day after. Why fired? The new young boss wanted to make a statement, so he made a new policy stating that everyone who does not work at least 80 hours a month needs to go. My friend is studying as well and can therefore not work more than she did. She had done a really good job, I know because I heard her customers scream when she called them up to cancel their appointments the following morning. She even did some free advertising-jobs for them. Pretty rough working environment here don´t you think you Scandinavians?

Job-hunted all day at The International Raoul Wallenberg Foundation. The people there are really nice to me and have helped me a lot. I know them from when dad was here and had those gigs in schools. The IRWF is a non-profit organisation that works to preserve the memory of Raoul Wallenberg and what he did during the holucast to save Jewish people.
