Researching, researching, researching

My favorite New Yorker! This guy (you can probably not tell, but he is rather old) stands on this street corner every day playing rock songs on his elecrical guitarr. He loves it, you can tell on his face. He loves New York and he loves himself.

There is still a lot I need to learn about everything here. Today Im off to Long Island with a friend to explore surf posibilities. I am still trying to learn more about the job hunt thing, housing, ski and ice possibilities, car ownership etc etc.

But I feel I am getting into things here now. I know about a lot of stuff and I can find my way around Manhattan reasonably good. Three times tourists have asked me about what subway line to take. Two of the times I could tell them.

Getting a bit unpatient as to the job thing though. I really want a job now!
